Jeanie graduated with a bachelor of arts in English from the University of Lethbridge in 1995. She currently works in the University of Lethbridge Faculty of Arts and Science Advising office. She is an avid reader and enjoys spending her summer weekends in Milk River, gardening with her Granny. She is also, most recently, enjoying her new Chevy HHR. Jeanie is married to Lethbridge living writer Brendan Cummins, which probably means that anything else she may want to add, he probably don’t want to see in print.

Amanda Berg
amanad-bergAmanda Berg has lived in Lethbridge since 1994. She achieved her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Management degrees from the University of Lethbridge, and is currently the Front of House Manager for the University of Lethbridge Theatres. Diane Boyle
diane_boyleDiane grew up in Edmonton, spent three years in Calgary, and moved to Lethbridge in the winter of 1976. She kept hoping her slow migration south would eventually find her on the Gulf of Mexico! Many times she longed to be immersed back into the excitement and commotion of the “big” city but Lethbridge is now her home and it has been extraordinarily good to her. It allowed her to raise two wonderful children, build amazing friendships and pursue her lifelong dream of writing. Diane has learned so much more about the world through her work at the university, and through meeting and writing about so many of her fellow citizens.

Brendan Cummins
brendan_cumminsBrendan is a passionate student of history, philosophy
and anything else he can get into a good argument
about. Having moved back to Lethbridge for the
third time, he thinks this time it might actually stick.
Brendan was a student at the University of
Lethbridge and currently works at Lethbridge Iron
Works melting and re-melting things to make a
lovely metal soup. At this point he wishes there was
something more interesting to write, but anything
else he would like to say about himself probably
shouldn’t be in print.

Hayley Geiger
hayleyHayley is a new addition to the Lethbridge living team. A recent graduate

Born and raised in Lethbridge, Hayley has built many relationships within the community and as an added bonus, can tell you the best food and drink specials for each day of the week; a source of great information to her friends when deciding where to dine. When Hayley's not working, you can bet she's at home relaxing with a movie from her collection, or listening to some tunes-whether its dance music or local band Ernest. As winter approaches, her favourite images of palm trees and Coronas on the beach will continue to keep her happy through the chilly months.

In 1999, he left the television station to start his own production company: The Commercial Factory. Through the years, he has worked on a countless number of commercials, videos and documentaries. Memorable jobs include producing a documentary on the Chernobyl disaster and its impact on the children of Belarus, and covering the early days of Nelson Mandela's new South African government. His first love has always been still photography and Jim enjoys shooting a wide variety of subjects. Stuart Mueller
muellerStuart has been making photographs and working with pictures all his life. After over 20 years working as a contemporary artist (Stuart received his Master of Fine Arts from NSCAD in ‘91), teaching at various universities, including the University of Lethbridge, it was in spring 2008 he decided it was time to launch a commercial photographic studio. Stuart's years of work as an artist in photography, and deep knowledge of photo history, allow him to bring both the ability to view a situation from many perspectives photographically as well as a knowledge of previous photographers' choices. That is a whole lot of talent coming to photograph your poodle. After years of critical discussion around photography and creating work from that discussion it is tremendously enjoyable for Stuart to bring himself to other peoples' photographic needs and desires.

Mark Pawlyszyn
mark-pawlyszynMark never liked photography. It seemed like a waste
of time to take photos of people doing things when
he could be doing them himself. Then one day he
picked up his wife’s camera and now, a few short
years later, Mark is an award-winning photographer
with a hectic schedule, photographing weddings and
portraits for clients from all over the world. Visit his
website at: www.uniqueimagesphotography.ca
